1. Information We Collect

DomainWatch collects only the minimum information necessary to provide domain monitoring and management services:

• Authentication data – Apple ID or Google account identifier used for sign-in
• Domain provider credentials – API keys and secrets you enter to connect domain registrars (encrypted with AES-256)
• Domain data – Domain names, expiry dates, renewal prices, and status synced from your connected providers
• Push notification tokens – Device tokens for sending domain expiry and backorder alerts

We do not collect:

• Location or GPS data
• Contacts, photos, or files
• Browsing history or search queries
• Health or biometric data

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used solely to:

• Authenticate your account and maintain your session
• Sync and display your domain portfolio from connected registrars
• Send push notifications for domain expiry warnings, renewal confirmations, and backorder updates
• Process domain purchases, transfers, and renewals through your connected providers

3. Data Security

All provider credentials are encrypted using bank-grade AES-256 encryption before being stored on our servers. Communication between the app and our servers uses HTTPS/TLS encryption. We never store your credentials in plain text.

4. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following third-party services that may collect limited data according to their own privacy policies:

• RevenueCat – Subscription and purchase management. May collect anonymous subscriber ID and purchase status.
• Firebase – Authentication and push notifications. Collects device tokens and anonymous usage data.
• Domain registrar APIs – DomainNameAPI and other providers you connect. Domain data is transmitted to/from these services.
• Apple App Store / Google Play Store – Payment processing. Transaction data handled per platform policies.

5. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions auto-renew unless turned off at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your device's account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited upon purchase.

6. Device Permissions

DomainWatch requests the following permissions:

• Notifications – Domain expiry alerts, renewal confirmations, and backorder updates
• Internet – Communication with our API and domain registrars
• Billing – In-app purchases and subscriptions

7. Data Retention and Deletion

Your account data and connected provider information are retained as long as your account is active. You can disconnect providers at any time to stop syncing. To delete all your data, see our Data Deletion page or contact us at the email below.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights under GDPR (EU) or CCPA (California) to access, delete, or object to processing of your data. Contact us to exercise your rights.

9. Children's Privacy

DomainWatch is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this policy as we improve our services. Any changes will be published with an updated revision date.
